竹野神社の神域は、古代の自然と人間との関係を想像できる豊かな森林だ。樹木に個性があり、踏みしめる土が足を受け止めてくれる感触がある。古代丹後にあったガラス工房と古墳や土器を作る土師氏と現代の作家をつなぐ、自然への感謝と敬意を表す麻紙チャーム（お守り）を陶磁器とガラスで作った。

The precinct around Takano Shrine is a rich forest where one can imagine the ancient relationship between nature and humans. Each tree has its own character and as you enter, you can feel that the soil hold your feet. We made a hemp paper amulet with ceramic and glass to express gratitude and respect for nature, linking the glass studio in ancient Tango, the Haji clan that made ancient burial mounds and earthenware, and modern artists.
